Red Iron Oxide

Red iron oxide can be used in eyeshadow, blush, lipstick or other lip products. It is very useful as a raw material in makeup or powder for all skin tones, but it is used in a much smaller amount compared to the rest of the pigments, as the content of red color in the skins is very small. It can also be used to give a red/terracotta color to natural soaps or melt pour soaps. To make makeup or powder remember to mix all foundation powders very well in a mortar or mill. To incorporate it into the natural soap first dissolve it in a small amount of oil eg olive oil or almond oil and use a small amount as it is a very concentrated colorant. It is kept well closed in a shady and dry environment for about 3 years.
