Yellow Iron Oxide is a high-purity, matte cosmetic pigment, essential for creating natural shades in makeup, soaps and botanical cosmetic formulations. Iron oxides are refined compounds of iron and oxygen, processed to remove impurities and fully compliant with European cosmetic raw material regulations.

Yellow Iron Oxide represents the primary undertone found in all skin tones, making it a key ingredient in foundations, face powders and full-coverage makeup. Unlike other pigments, it can be used in slightly higher amounts, allowing precise tone correction without overpowering the formulation.

It is ideal for eyeshadows, blushes, lipsticks and lip products, and works exceptionally well as a tone balancer, neutralizing excessive redness or pink hues. In soap making, it delivers yellow to mustard tones in both olive oil soaps and melt & pour bases.

For cold process soap, pre-disperse the pigment in a small amount of vegetable oil, such as olive or almond oil, to ensure even color distribution. Although more flexible in use, it remains a concentrated pigment and requires thorough blending, especially in powders and makeup bases.

When stored in a cool, dry and shaded environment, it maintains its quality for up to 3 years.
