Brown Iron Oxide

Iron oxide brown can be used in dark shadows, blush, brown mascara, pencil or brown eyeliner. It is very useful as a raw material in makeup or powder for dark skin. It can also be used to add a brown color to natural soaps or melt pour soaps. To make makeup or powder remember to mix all foundation powders very well in a mortar or mill. To incorporate it into natural soap, first dissolve it in a small amount of oil eg olive or almond oil and use a small amount as it is a very concentrated colorant. It is kept well closed in a shady and dry environment for about 3 years.
