Alfalfa (Medicago Sativa) is a flowering plant that belongs to the Psychanth family and is found mainly around the Mediterranean basin. Herb rich in antioxidants and nutrients with high levels of vitamins, such as , C, E and K and a high content of calcium, potassium, phosphorus and iron.
In herbal medicine, Alfalfa is mainly used as a tonic for the body and the immune system, to treat vitamin deficiency and physical or nervous breakdown.
