Ginkgo Billoba

Ginkgo Biloba is an ancient and particularly impressive deciduous tree, the only surviving species of the Ginkgoaceae family, with a special place in the evolutionary tree as it is also the only living link between ferns and conifers. The fruits of the tree are silver in color and surrounded by a fleshy casing with a strong unpleasant smell like spoiled butter, due to the presence of butyric acid. In autumn, its leaves change color from green to gold. In Chinese medicine its fruit has always been used for its antitussive, digestive and diuretic properties. Today, medicinal products are prepared from its leaves for the treatment of various circulatory diseases. Ginkgo Biloba noticeably improves blood circulation throughout the body and significantly helps oxygenate the blood vessels. It contributes to better oxygenation of the brain, dealing with problems of memory loss, inability to concentrate and other mental dysfunctions. It is also believed to help with the proper functioning of the heart and arteries, erectile dysfunction, vision and the overall health and well-being of the body.
