Optiphen

Optiphen cosmetic preservative offers effective protection against bacteria and germs, without affecting the texture and quality of cosmetics.

It is widely used in creams, lotions, soaps, body butters and body scrubs. It is suitable for thick cosmetic bases and not for thinner cosmetics (eg flower waters, shampoos, toners).

Optiphen is particularly easy to use, as it is offered in liquid form. It shows no negative interactions with other cosmetic ingredients and is highly effective. Although it is not affected by the temperature of the base product, we recommend that you use it at temperatures below 40C.

Its suggested participation in cosmetics is 0.5-1.5%. It is paraben-free and formaldehyde-free.
