Potassium Alum

Potassium alum or deodorant crystal is a natural deodorant that is safe to use as an alternative to the aluminum that is most often found in commercial deodorants.

It has antibacterial properties and works as an antiseptic, preventing bad breath without preventing sweat secretion. It is water-based and therefore usually incorporated in roll-on deodorants. It is used at a rate of 3-10%.
