Vegetable silicone (Coco-Caprylate) is a mixture of esters derived from coconut fatty acids and is used mainly in skin and hair care products, but also in body sprays and perfumes, as an emulsifier.
It has excellent emollient properties, while it also acts as a strong lubricant on the surface of the skin, forming a thin non-greasy film on it and giving it a soft, smooth and firm appearance.
Vegetable silicone has low toxicity, does not irritate the eyes and skin, does not have flammable properties, mixes easily with all vegetable oils, while its ingredients are considered completely safe.
Add it to the oily phase of your cosmetics at a rate of 2% to 25%.
