Agrimony

Agrimony with the official name Agrimonia Eupatoria, is used in herbal medicine as a stimulant of the digestive system and is considered a plant that heals wounds, while it is particularly effective for ulcers, colic and diarrhea. It has antiviral, antioxidant, diuretic, astringent and anti-inflammatory effects. It is often used in indigestion and is indicated for urinary incontinence and cystitis. When gargled it is beneficial to relieve sore throat and laryngitis. It contains volatile oils, flavonoids, nicotinic acid, silicic acid, iron, vitamins B and K, essential oil, quercetin, glycosides, phenolic acids, and tannins. A tea of ​​its leaves is recommended for clearing the voice, migraines, indigestion, colic and diarrhoea. To make a decoction, boil 50 grams in a liter of water and drink 3 times a day between meals. As an infusion, add two teaspoons of dried leaves to a liter of water and leave for 15 minutes.
