Clary Sage Essential Oil

Clary sage essential oil has a sweet, musky aroma with low floral notes. It is used in aromatherapy as a pain reliever, light hypnotic, aphrodisiac as well as in cases of chronic asthma. It contains estrogen-like hormones, reducing period pains and menopause symptoms. It also regulates sweat and sebum secretion and is an excellent ingredient in products aimed at reducing sweating and balancing sebum secretion. On a psychological level, the Clary sage is deeply relaxing and rejuvenating, it causes euphoria and good mood. It combines very well with all citrus essential oils, as well as Lavender, Frankincense, Jasmine and Cedarwood.

It is native to the northern Mediterranean basin and some areas of North Africa and Central Asia.
