Couchgrass, with the official name Elymus Repens, is a perennial plant of low growth with creeping rhizomes that allow it to grow quickly in meadows. It belongs to the botanical family Graminaecae and is native to most of Europe, Asia and northwest Africa, and is often considered a weed. It has traditionally been used to treat urinary tract infections, as it exerts a diuretic and laxative effect, effectively contributing to cases of urinary tract infections, cystitis, etc. Couchgrass decoction has a strong diuretic, soothing and anti-inflammatory effect, contributing positively to bladder problems.
