Fenugreek Tincture

Fenugreek tincture acts as an expectorant, emollient, tonic and lactagogue, while it lubricates the intestine, and reduces fever. It helps to reduce cholesterol and blood sugar levels. It is a powerful stimulant of milk production in mothers and is reputed to enhance breast development. It is also suitable for reducing inflammation in cases of trauma and irritated wounds. It is useful for topical treatment and reduction of inflammation in conditions such as wounds, irritated wounds, fistulas and tumors.

Finally, it has proven beneficial in cases of asthma and sinusitis by reducing mucus, but also in inflammation and lung disorders. Herbal tinctures are very potent and should therefore be consumed as directed. The usual dosage is 1ml (about 20 drops per day). They should not be consumed during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
