Ho Wood essential oil

Ho Wood essential oil has a soft, woody and slightly floral aroma reminiscent of a rose. It is used in aromatherapy as an analgesic, anti-influenza, tonic antispasmodic, sedative, deodorant, muscle relaxant and antiseptic. On a psychological level, it has a calming effect, reducing tension and relaxing the body and spirit. Combines well with cedar, basil, bergamot, lavender, geranium, chamomile and cinnamon.

 

Camphor Wood (Ho Wood) comes from the plant with the botanical name Cinnamomum Glaucescens and is an evergreen tree, native to areas of China south of the Yangtze River as well as Taiwan, Japan, Korea and Vietnam. It has now been introduced to many other countries around the world. It is recognized as an aromatic plant, meaning it has increased levels of essential oil, which is used in perfumery and traditional medicine.
