Lady's Montle with the official name Alchemilla Vulgaris, is a herbaceous perennial plant found in Europe and Greenland. The leaves of the plant become particularly charming, as they have the ability to hold water droplets and look shiny and fresh. It is used in herbal therapy as an emmenagogue, mainly to treat menstrual disorders and pains. It is thought to work towards restoring normal blood flow levels during the period. Also, the salicylic acids it contains have soothing properties, offering relief from the cramps that may accompany menstrual disorders. It works beneficially in the onset of menstruation, in period disorders (amenorrhea, menorrhagia, dysmenorrhea, irregular cycle) and at the same time acts as a regulator in the hormonal changes of menopause. It also helps in cases of relaxation of the hypogastric muscles and in general muscle diseases, prolapse of the uterus, inflammation of the abdominal region, etc.

The dosage recommended by herbalists for Lady's Montle is 6.0 gr per day. Use 2.0g in 250ml of water (one cup) three times a day. Avoided during pregnancy because it is a uterine stimulant.
