Liquid Silk

Liquid silk is very rich in the substance serine, which has the ability to bind natural moisture in the skin as well as in the hair. The hair stops being dry and brittle with a tendency to split and the skin acquires shine, softness and vigor.

It also contains the protein fibroin which is responsible for the soft and silky texture that liquid silk gives to cosmetic formulations. Silk amino acids can be used in almost all cosmetics. They are water-soluble and ideal for moisturizing creams, body butters, body lotions, cleansers, toners, but also for shampoos, conditioners, hair masks, lipsticks, etc.

Liquid silk is used in cosmetics at a rate of 1-2.5%.
