Neem Oil

Neem oil comes from the Azadirachta Indica plant (Indian lilac) and is considered ideal for the treatment and protection of sensitive skin suffering from chronic problems and irritations. It also provides vitality and nourishment to damaged hair and is often added as an ingredient to shampoos and scalp care products.

Due to its antibacterial, anti-inflammatory and antifungal action, it protects against dental infections. In the Indian tradition chewing the plant was a daily habit for cleaning and protecting the teeth.

Today it is used as an ingredient in many commercial toothpastes. Another of its properties is insect repellent, which it owes to the complex action of the substance azadirachtin it contains.
