Orange Amygdalea

The essential oil of Orange (Citrus Sinensis), from the company amygdalea, comes from cold pressing of its peel and has a sweet aroma with a high aromatic note.

In aromatherapy it is used to combat anxiety, depression, nervousness, insomnia and other conditions related to the functioning of the nervous system. Its lively and sweet aroma stimulates the tired body and removes unnecessary tension.

It is considered antipyretic, antispasmodic, cardiotonic and stimulant of the lymphatic and digestive systems. It reduces fluid retention and helps the bowels to function and to deal with constipation. It has an antiseptic and bacteriostatic effect and can be used as a patch on any part of the skin that needs disinfection.

Finally, it contributes to the production of collagen in the skin, to the protection of blood vessels and to the removal of freckles and discolorations.

Mixed with rosewater (50 drops of oil in 200ml of rosewater), Orange essential oil makes an excellent tonic face lotion, while mixed with almond oil, in the same ratio, it can be used as a moisturizing body oil for after-bath care.

The essential oil of Orange is excellently combined with Lavender, Lemon, Mandarin, Clove, Myrrh and Sage, creating unique aromatic compositions.
