Peppermint essential oil

Peppermint essential oil has a strong, fresh and very cool aroma, which gives a feeling of rejuvenation. In aromatherapy it is used in conditions of weakness, lethargy, nausea, fever, headaches and to improve breathing.

Its anti-inflammatory, analgesic and anesthetic action effectively treat muscle pain and help prevent flu and the common cold. In aesthetics, it is used in steam for the deep cleansing of the face due to its astringent property and is suitable for use in products to combat relaxation and treat varicose veins.

On a psychological level it promotes clarity and alertness and can deepen intuitive insight. It combines well with rosemary, eucalyptus, lemon, marjoram and lavender.
