Rock Rose is a native low, bristly shrub of the Cistaceae family, which grows in many parts of Greece and mainly in Crete and Cyprus.
Rock Rose tea is considered three times better than green tea, protects the heart 4 times more than red wine and is an antioxidant 20 times stronger than fresh lemon juice.
Rock Rose has an anti-inflammatory and anti-diarrheal effect, it is spasmolytic, expectorant and anti-catarrhal. It has sedative properties and is used for insomnia, diarrhea and toothache.
Pour 1 spoonful of frankincense into a cup of boiling water and leave it covered for 15 minutes. Strain and drink one cup in the morning and one in the evening.
