When Sodium Lactate is used as a cosmetic ingredient (in face creams, shampoos, soaps, etc.), it gives the products an enhanced moisturizing effect. Effectively moisturizes the skin by increasing its ability to retain moisture in the cells.

In soap making it helps maintain the fluidity of the soap when it has melted, while at the same time increasing the hardness of the final product.

Sodium Lactate is usually used at a rate of 1-3%. In our store you will find it in liquid form, odorless and slightly yellow in color. It is completely soluble in water and depending on the solvent has a pH range of 6.5 to 8.5.
