Spearmint essential oil

The essential oil of Spearmint has a particularly sweet mint aroma and contains, among other things, limonene and smaller amounts of menthol and menthone, compared to mint. It is widely used in bathroom cleaners and as an anti-cavity-causing bacteria ingredient, as well as a flavoring agent in toothpastes. In aromatherapy it is used to relieve fatigue, regulate breathing, decongest the nose and fight nausea. It also has beneficial effects in cases of weakness and headaches. On a psychological level, it stimulates the nervous system by combating stress and relieves fatigue, improving mental clarity and memory. It combines very well with Lavender, Rosemary, Lemon, Grapefruit and Basil.
