Thyme Amygdalea

Thyme essential oil of amygdalea is obtained by steam distillation of its leaves and flowers and has a cool, herbal aroma. It presents a strong antiseptic and antibacterial effect as it contains the substance Thymol, the main component of most modern oral solutions.

It is mainly used for the care of bruises, wounds, abrasions, swellings and skin infections, but also for the care of skin suffering from skin diseases, acne, eczema and psoriasis, as well as for rubbing in cases of musculoskeletal pain.

In the case of musculoskeletal pain, Thyme oil is mainly used for rubs/massage to relieve pain from arthritis but also for "seized" muscles, pain from cervical syndrome, etc.

In recent years, thyme oil has begun to be used by cosmetic companies to strengthen hair, but also as an ingredient in products to treat onychomycosis.

In aromatherapy, it is used for colds, coughs, infectious diseases and bronchitis, but also as a memory and concentration enhancer.

Thyme essential oil is excellently combined with lavender, rosemary, lemon, bergamot, marjoram, creating unique aromatic compositions.
