Turmeric Tincture

Turmeric tincture (Curcuma Longa), is an invigorating supplement that promotes healthy digestion and liver function, reduces high blood cholesterol levels and treats mild forms of depression. It has a strong antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effect and is used as a natural anti-inflammatory, acting like other anti-inflammatory drugs, but without the side effects. It is also said that in combination with black pepper, it greatly increases its effectiveness against various inflammations in the body, including rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis.

Herbal tinctures are concentrated liquid extracts of herbs, usually steeped in alcohol to extract their valuable active ingredients. Alcohol is often used as it can extract components such as resins and alkaloids that are not water soluble.

The usual dosage is up to 1ml daily for no more than 8-12 weeks. They should not be consumed during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
